XM360 v1.9b

Node21 (Team XeDev) now released XM360 v1.9b to the public, a tool running on homebrew 360s that will allow to organize, scan and unlock XBLA and DLC content.
What’s new/fixed (since v1.8d):
* Fixed mass ftp transfers freezing
* Fixed size display of GOD titles
* Added ability to push GOD titles
* Added ability to delete LOCAL and REMOTE GOD titles
* Fixed DLC scene being off by 1 pixel
* Fixed Game Saves scene being off by 1 pixel
* Added display of path to bottom of game saves scene
* Fixed gamesave dates in server (sometimes read wrong date)
* Added auto-update from server (previous only handled xm360.xex, now will fetch media directory as well)
* Fixed sync buttons for GOD content (v1.9a)
* Fixed percentage display when transfering GOD containers (v1.9a)
* Fixed ftp dir listing file timestamps (v1.9a)
* Fixed server for UsbMu0 and UsbMu1 (v1.9b)
* Removed some debugging output from the server when updating XBLA (v1.9b)

JPCSP – Java PSP Emulator – v0.6 Released

Told you it was coming… The JPCSP Team officially pushed version 0.6 out the door. JPCSP is the Java-written PSP emulator for your PC — and not just Windows — I’m talking Mac & Linux too. What’s new? A lot. Refer to the included README.txt for all that.

Half Byte Loader R101 Released

How do you play and enjoy homebrew on every PSP model and firmware to date? Enroll in Half Byte Loader 101 and you’ll learn. Your instructor: PSP-Hacks. Textbooks courtesy of Wololo and Co.
Running a firmware <= 6.20? Get the Patapon 2 Demo, the SAVE DATA hack, and HBL R101 for Patapon2.
Running firmware 6.30 or 6.31? Get the UMD or PSN version of Hot Shots Golf (US), Everybody’s Golf (EU), or Minna no Golf (JP), the appropriate SAVE DATA hack, and HBL R101 for your respective game.
Now download all the homebrew and have some fun.
Half Byte Loader R101:
  • JJS’s patch for perfect syscalls on the golf exploit (improve compatibility, especially on the psp go)
  • Changed loading address for minna no golf exploit, per J416′s recommendation
  • Moved some global variables into scratchpad, which should solve firmware detection issues (issue 323)
  • improves stability on all models

Play your PSP Games on your PS3

dunno if anyone’s seen this, but one of my friends found an interesting directory in the PS3′s flash:
/dev_flash/pspemu/release, and there’s a umd9660.sprx in there.
what do we make of ‘pspemu’?
And now we can answer with this… Russian hacker, GameSuper, demonstrates how super he is with his game by playing any PSP game on a hacked PS3. For demonstration purposes GTA Chinatown Wars is used. How does GameSuper do it? Well that method isn’t public yet. GameSuper is setting to release a beta soon — in 2 parts: 1) a tool that’ll convert a PSP ISO to a PS3 compatible format, and 2) a homebrew app to run on your PS3 that’ll enable pspemu.
Awesome! Unless of course, you know, it’s a fake. Time will tell.
