Apple Delays White iPhone 4 Until Later This Year
Apple has announced that they will be delaying the White iPhone 4. Originally, they expected them to ship by mid/end July to customers waiting for a white iPhone 4. Now, customers will have to wait till later this year to get their iPhone.
White models of Apple’s new iPhone 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.
Reportedly, the delays experienced by the white iPhone 4 are due to issues with the paint application process for the device’s glass front and back panels.
